Explore the intersection of art and civic responsibility
Explore the intersection of art and civic responsibility through this residency open to Scottsdale schools. Students work with teaching artists to integrate across the curriculum—using skills that include math, science, and language arts—and develop life skills, all through the design of a bowl. Student bowls are donated to the annual Alli Ortega Empty Bowls Benefit Sale to raise funds to fight hunger in our community.
Residencies take place September–November. Open to Scottsdale schools only.
- Grades: 5–8
- Length: Five one-hour sessions
