Violins of Hope

The Violins of Hope matinees combine music, storytelling and multimedia to teach students about the Holocaust and the importance of recognizing and accepting people of all cultures, nationalities and religions. Featuring personal stories and professional musicians performing on the Violins of Hope, a collection of violins that were played during the Holocaust, students will connect with this important period in history and learn relevant lessons that apply to their world today.

  • Recommended grades: 6 – 12
