It’s undeniable that there is a universal appreciation for the arts and the different approaches to creative expression; yet very few are brave enough to venture into it as a career path. The stereotype of the “starving artist” and the perceived lack of profitability in the arts create a barrier for some. Passion becomes the main source of currency in that case, which is demonstrated by the deeply committed professional and personal work of the staff at Scottsdale Arts.

When we aren’t installing exhibitions, managing backstage, engaging with communities, or writing press releases … we are creators. We have the great fortune to be surrounded by creative innovation daily and it fuels the inspiration for the art we make when we return home. After Hours highlights the hard-working staff artists who coordinate memorable arts experiences by day and create astounding original artwork by night.
