There is No Planet B, ecofeminism and climate is a collaborative exhibition between Scottsdale Arts and ecoartspace at the Center Space, a community-based gallery inside Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts. The exhibition features work by Arizona-based members of ecoartspace who are concerned about the future of the planet, identify with the ecofeminist perspective, and make work that speaks to an equitable future for humans and the more-than-human world.
ecoartspace has served as a platform for artists addressing environmental issues since 1999. Members include artists, scientists, professionals, students, and advocates sharing resources and supporting each other’s work.
Artists include: Ulrike Arnold, Camila de Andrade Bianchi, Barbara Boissevain, Cherie Buck-Hutchison, Heidi Dauphin, Jan Talmadge Davids, Jimmy Fike, Moira Geoffrion, Nancy Gifford, Rachel Ivanyi, Adriene Jenik, Saskia Jordá, Mary Meyer, Alan Petersen, Martina Shenal, Diane Silver, Shawn Skabelund, Beth Ames Swartz, and Jen Urso.
The exhibition is co-juried by Patricia Watts, founder of ecoartspace, and Laura Hales, curator of learning and innovation.
