Hold on to Hope
Hold on to Hope is an educational Holocaust exhibition kit that inspires community through the life experiences of Arizona-based Holocaust survivor Oskar Knoblauch. This traveling exhibition is designed for display in schools, libraries, community centers, and museums. Customizable educational materials provided opportunities to extend learning into the classroom. Oskar’s story of survival shines a light on living life not as a bystander but as an “upstander” and the tragic consequences of intolerance to reveal timeless lessons of respect, perseverance, empathy, and hope.
Curriculum Connections: Hold on to Hope targets history and social sciences standards for grades 7 through 10 and supports Arizona requirements for Holocaust education in grades 7 or 8 and once in grades 9 through 12.
