A Celebration of the Arts for Children with Disabilities

This annual, half-day field trip offers a safe, friendly environment for elementary school-aged children with disabilities to create art in a fun and festive outdoor setting.

Alli Ortega Empty Bowls Benefit Sale

Scottsdale Community College Student Center Cafeteria
In partnership with Scottsdale Partners Cares, Vista del Camino Food Bank, Scottsdale Community College, City of Scottsdale agencies, and Scottsdale Unified School District, this event raises funds to fight hunger in our community through the sale of handcrafted bowls created by local community artisans and youth. All proceeds are donated to Vista del Camino Social Services.
Arts Education Showcase

The annual Arts Education Showcase celebrates the accomplishments of participants in Scottsdale Arts Education & Outreach’s programs and demonstrates how the arts provide a platform to collaborate with communities and connect meaningfully to issues important to our city. The evening will feature art exhibitions, artist demonstrations, hands-on activities, and live performances of spoken word, dance, and music.
Inspiring Aspiring Architects
Saturday, February 9, 2019, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Jones Studio, 205 S. Wilson St., Tempe
For students interested in architecture and design, this one-day workshop is an excellent opportunity to meet and work one on one with local architects in a professional setting. Students will learn about design concepts and create a model of their own imagined living space. Materials will be provided and light snacks served. This program is offered in partnership with architects Matt and Maria Salenger (coLAB Studio and Jones Studio).
