QUOTES:
“I am not an artist, but I definitely appreciate the importance of art in my students’ lives. Anytime I can reach my students in new ways, I will try—even if it is outside my comfort zone.”
“This workshop reignited my creativity. I never saw how relevant this is and how infusing the arts makes so much sense.”
“I will use the organized format and questioning techniques to engage all learners and promote critical thinking.”
What is arts integration?
Arts integration is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate understanding through an art form. Students engage in a creative process that connects an art form and another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both.
SmART Integration Teacher Workshops are supported by Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.
