About the Event
Have you ever wondered what being an architect is like? Want to visit an award-winning architecture firm and design your own project?
For the 14th year, Inspiring Aspiring Architects is a free career-readiness workshop offered to students ages 13–18 who are interested in architecture and design professions. Students meet local designers and architects, learn about what they do, explore educational paths to becoming an architect, and experience the general design process. Working at Jones Studio’s Tempe office, participants draw and build models of their own under the guidance of design mentors. Parents join the audience to observe presentations of the student projects at the end of the workshop.
