About the Event
The Classical period lasted less than a century, but its effects on music history are legion. Programmatic music, or music written to tell a specific story, migrated mainly to the opera house and the theater. The patronage model kept many composers writing in established musical forms.
However, does this mean that the art of text-painting disappeared from piano music entirely? The answer may subvert your expectations. FREE; no kit needed.
